FOUND is a cute little Vintage store close to the Premises (amazing cafe’!) on Hackney Road. Prices are completely affordable: £ 15-£20 for a top and £ 20-25 for skirts. New items get added every week and you can also keep yourself up to date on their blog http://foundeastlondon.posterous.com/ . The interesting thing is that the owner is an Eastender! Geographically and literally. We’ve only just found out looking at her Twitter page that Meryl Fernandes (pictured below) is a character of the popular brit soap.

We absolutely recommend this place for your vintage shopping spree! Oh and don’t forget to look at the funny retro pictures on the top shelf around the shop!

Boo! Our big plans of picnics, parks and seaside towns unfortunately have to wait for us Londoners so what’s the best way to spend our bank holiday? We’ve been browsing looking for the ultimate indoor music festival or a vintage fair and then thought… Barbican centre!

What the Barbican centre offers us at the moment is quite exciting. The biggest ever in UK Bauhaus exhibition and a free installation view of ‘Wastenot’ by Chinese artist Song Dong.

If…and big if…the sun come out we are thinking lunch outside sitting around the fountains. If the rain stays with us then is going to be cinema! At the moment some interesting screenings at the Barbican. Our choice of ultra-romantic girly girls will be French film ‘Goodbye my first love’ by Mia Hansen-Løve.

Just outside you can enjoy wooden fire pizza or the famous Luca’s meatballs of Ridley road.

This place interesting perks are the music and the crowd. You will literally land in hipster land and the music is simply fantastic! We went to see Ed McFarlane from Friendly Fires who DJed (and sat at our table afterwards!!) and the launch of Citizens’ new single ‘Reptile’.

So…overall tasty cocktails, lovely pizza, amazing music, the ultimate fashion crowd…THE PLACE TO GO!

We think that, despite not being lovers of camping, we could actually cope for a few days! Just because it’s COACHELLA! Not too sure if we could look as stunning as Kate Bosworth on the last day, but hey, let’s not forget is also about having lots of fun, sun and listening to lots of great music.

We wish you all a good start of the week and we really advise you to check out Summer Camp. They are fantastic duo we went to see last week at Scala. If they are playing near you we really recommend them! We love artists on stage that can interact with the crowd and make them part of the show. Their music is accompanied in the background by images of the best 80′s films such as Ferris Bueller or Breakfast club. Classics! Who doesn’t love a bit of 80′s nostalgia?

Luisaviaroma.com will auction the pugs from today 19th March starting from 1 euro and proceeds from the sales will go to Unicef.

It will probably quite be hard to get one but we can entertain you in ‘guess the designer’ in the pictures below! Some of the designers that collaborated to this initiative are: Balmain – Versace- Mary Katrantzou – Giuseppe Zanotti – Valentino – Roberto Cavalli – Mugler. Can you say who designed which below?
